Cell Phone Policy

STEP 1:
If the student violates the electronics policy, (which states all cell phones must be placed in
a District provided cabinet) the teacher will communicate this to the student and will receive
a warning.
STEP 2:
2nd cell phone violation: The student's device will be sent to the Dean's office (security
pick-up), a phone call home will be issued, and the device held until the end of the school
day.
STEP 3:
Next violation and any subsequent violations: The device will be held in the Dean's office
and parents will be notified to pick up the device in the Dean's office, and students will be
instructed to not bring the device to school.

Cap and Gown Picture Day for 8th, 5th, and Kinder
Monday, 02/10/2025
• 7:45AM- Fotorama Crew Arrival & Set-Up at the Auditorium
• 8:30AM - 1st Period - 8th graders from Abdullah's PE class
• 9:30AM - 2nd Period - 8th graders from Cervantes Figueroa, Lermas
• 10:40AM - 3rd Period - 8th graders from Figueroa's PE class
• 11:30AM - 4th Period - 5th graders from Ms. Younger's class
• 12:30PM - 5th Period- Kindergarten from Ms. Castellano's class
• 2:00PM - 6th Period - 8th graders from Cervantes Figueroa, Lermas
• 3:00PM - 7th Period - End and Fotorama Pack-Up

The pictures are taken by Fotorama. All students' in 8th, 5th and Kindergarten photos are taken, and families have the opportunity to purchase photos. The 8th graders are not wearing caps but only gowns provided by Fotorama. The 5th graders are not in cap and gown, instead in "formal" attire that Fotorama will provide. Kindergarten students' photos are in cap and gown that Fotorama will provide.
