Mr. Robert Nielsen

Hi, my name is Mr. Robert Nielsen. I graduated with my Bachelor of the Arts degree in History Education from Illinois State University. I have been teaching for 10 years, and am in my 5th year here at Foshay Learning Center. I teach a variety of social studies classes, including U.S. History, World History, and the elective class College & Career Readiness.

 

In addition to teaching, I am also the Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field coach. I have served in these positions since 2022. When I have the time, I enjoy being the teacher-sponsor of the Chess Club and offering after-school tutoring.
